POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

As of today, at the time of booking, I am at least 21 years of age or older.
I agree and understand that I must have a room spacious enough to accommodate my Massage Therapist's massage table (30/32" x 72") with room for the Massage Therapist to move around.
I agree and understand my Massage Therapist must be able to park directly in front of my home, OR in my driveway, OR in a designated visitor's parking spot (if I reside in a high-rise building), and not down the street or around the corner.
I agree and will allow my Massage Therapist to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance to prepare for my session.
I agree and understand all of my sessions will end on time even if my appointment began late.
To my knowledge, I am not pregnant at the time of my massage. If pregnant, I swear I meet the 22 weeks or greater standards my Massage Therapist requires and I am not considered High Risk and fully understand the benefits and risks of massage during my pregnancy. I will consult with my primary physician if I am unsure if massage therapy is for me.
I understand and agree that there will only be 2 people in the room at the time of my session, myself and my massage therapist, unless it is writing that I require assistance from a health agent.
I understand and agree hygiene is important and will shower or bathe prior to the start of my massage session.
I understand and agree that health is important and will not continue my massage if I am feeling sick. And, my Massage Therapist will reschedule my appointment.
I understand that my Massage Therapist is not a physician and WILL NOT provide any diagnoses for pains and/or concerns regarding my health. I understand that if I wish for my concerns to be diagnosed, I MUST SEE MY PHYSICIAN or visit the nearest Emergency Room if conditions worsen before ,during, or after my massage.
I understand my massage experience will be performed within my, the client, place of residence therefore making me, the client, solely responsible for making this experience as peaceful as possible. IT IS NOT MY MASSAGE THERAPIST'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DISMISS ANY PERSON(S), PET(S), NOISY NEIGHBORS, VISITORS, ETC FROM MY PLACE OF RESIDENCE IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A QUIET SESSION THAT IS TO MY, THE CLIENT'S, SATISFACTION. All pets must be away from the attending Massage Therapist during my session.

PAYMENTS

I understand and agree that payments are due at the time of booking using this website which requires PayPal.
I understand and agree that if I, the client, choose to pay in-person, I must pay upon arrival of the Massage Therapist before the start of my session.
I understand and agree that payments may also be made in-person via the Wix POS (card reader).
I understand that cash payments will not be accepted as the massage therapist does not carry cash at all.

CANCELLATIONS/LATE APPOINTMENTS/REFUNDS

I understand and agree that all payments made in-person will not be refunded unless the massage therapist cancels due to personal reasons not related to the session.
I understand and agree my appointment must cancelled within 48 hours of the session to receive my full refund.
I understand and agree that cancelling my appointment within 24 hours or less of the session I will be refunded in half of the paid amount, but my session is not refundable within 2 hours or less of my appointment.
I agree and understand that if I, the client, is more than 15 minutes late to allow my Massage Therapist to begin my session, the therapist has the right to cancel and I am to reschedule for a different day and time, without a refund.
I agree and understand my Massage Therapist has the right to, and will, end the session when I, the client or anyone within my place of residence where the massage will be performed, displays inappropriate conduct that my Massage Therapist deems to be one of the following: Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, racial slurs, use of condescending tones and/or language, any physical abusive behavior, de-robing or undraping constantly to reveal my body to the Massage Therapist for sexual purposes, requests for sexual favors, etc., and my payment for massage will not be refunded and my massage therapist will pursue legal actions, to include notifying law enforcements. I understand my session will end when my Massage Therapist feels unsafe, and will not be refunded.
I understand and agree my Massage Therapist reserves the right to refuse service(s) in the event I, the client, am under the influence of any illegal substances or prescribed medications, and/or under the influence of alcoholic beverages, to include wine. I agree to be sober during my session. I understand I will not receive any refunds when my session is ended or denied due to said circumstances.
I swear my place of residency is free from an infestation of any pest(s) and/or rodent(s) of any kind (such as roaches, mice, etc.). Not notifying my attending massage therapist of my pest/rodent condition will cause my appointment to cancelled immediately.
Cancellations due to unsanitary conditions are nonrefundable, however, I understand that if I explain this condition to my massage therapist after booking a session on this website, I will receive my full refund should I meet the 48 hour refund policy listed above.
I understand that refunds may take up to 14 business days. Refunds will be issued via cashier's check.

CLEANING/SAFETY

I am aware that my Massage Therapist sanitizes and/or washes all reusable items by washing them with soap before and after each session (i.e. massage table, sheets, etc)
I understand my Massage Therapist will wear a medical mask during my session as a safety measure, and that it is optional for me, the client .
I agree and understand that if the designated place I choose for my massage session is not clean, it is not safe for my Massage Therapist and my session will not resume.

By booking a session with A Touch of B, I consent to treatment from the designated Massage Therapist and agree to all of the terms and conditions above. It is my choice to receive massage therapy. I am aware of the benefits and risks of massage and give my consent for massage. I understand that there is no implied or stated guarantee of success of effectiveness of individual techniques or series of appointments. I acknowledge that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care, medical examination or diagnosis. I will state all medical conditions that I am aware of and will inform my practitioner of any changes in my health status. I understand that my personal and health information will be collected. I understand that all information that I provide will be kept confidential unless required by law. I understand and consent that my medical information may be shared by various care providers involved in my care and treatment.
